i read the godfather (it was the only book in english at my hostel), did an amazing hike for over 15 miles, and thought the construction vs. mountains was very silly. the monkeys were so cute and unafraid of humans - i had to cross this bridge maybe 4 feet away from them, and they completely ignored me. my burger was SO GOOD!! it had avocado.

had amazing yakisoba and okonomiyaki, got rained on a ton, cut a daifuku with a string (to my amazement), went to an expensive and very fun whisky bar, and picked food out of our teeth. fabulous trip.
